This year marks the 30th anniversary of National Non-Smoking Week. This year's theme is I Quit For... an invitation to individual smokers to choose quitting smoking.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of National Non-Smoking Week. This year's theme is I Quit For... an invitation to individual smokers to choose quitting smoking. On Wednesday, January 24th, we invite smokers from across Canada to take on a challenge and not smoke for a full day. After all, making it through one day is the first major step in quitting for a lifetime. Quitting is a choice you can make and we can help. As Minister of Health, I encourage all smokers to visit www.gosmokefree.ca to find information and support to help you quit for good.
