Anti-substance abuse rally set for Oct. 25

An anti-drug, anti-booze and anti-smoking rally, dinner and bonfire to say no to drugs will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Ict. 25 at the Brighton Fire Hall, 50 Jamaica St., Town of Tonawanda.

The event, co-sponsored by Youth Engaged in Service and the town, is urging teens to take a stand and bring signs and placards to the rally from 4 to 5:30 p.m. A dinner and music follows until 7 p.m. when the bonfire will be lit and tobacco and alcohol ads will be burned.
